The HSE strongly recommend that first aiders in the
workplace undergo annual training sessions separately from the renewal
every three years to keep their skills up to date and practised - CRT
have developed several affordable training options for employers.
Annual Training Refresher
A four hour training opportunity that
will enable participants to rehearse their skills in Basic Life Support
and provide them with a certificate of attendance. This training can
take place in the workplace, will be tailored to the participants needs
and will generally comprise of:

Annual Simulation Refresher
Probably the most popular and successful
way to refresh your first aid training. over the years CRT have
established a tremendous reputation for delivering Casualty Simulation
in all manner of environments to provide some of the most exhilarating
and effective first aid training.
We are able to come to your workplace with little
intrusion and provide a realistic first aid emergency for your staff to
deal with - they will then receive praise from our team along with
treatment corrections and tips. The session will also include a training
review from our team in Basic Life Support.
A typical scenario would include: a realistic background for the
particular workplace and industry, enough work to occupy everyone,
casualties suffering from a mixture of illness and traumatic injury or
both serious and minor severity, sufficient props to enable a realistic
approach.
A certificate of attendance is available and a typical four hour session
would include:

Each session can take place safely in your
workplace and will include casualties and equipment relevant to
your environment.
