CONGRATULATIONS to KAREN, she was offered a last minute ILS course alongside a number of doctors and advanced clinicians, today she breezed through it and very much impressed the Resus training team. What do they expect – she’s a CRT medic! WELL DONE!!

Two days, almost 100 treatments and lots of travelling. The guys were working hard to ensure that the kids and spectators weren’t too badly damaged with compliments for their ability and professionalism from both the local NHS Abmbulance personnel and doctors at the local A&E. Nice going!

Our team just returned from this years third Team Tours Direct youth rugby festival. With two days on the South Coast they were kept busy right up to the end with numerous casualties and sports treatments, fortunately nothing outrageously serious and only a couple of broken bones! Learning with Dauphines

Two members of staff were invited to visit the outstanding people at Dauphines, Bristol – home to some of the best make up and simulation experts in the UK. They were able to glean advice and find out about new products and techniques that will make our casualty simulations even more fearsome! Look out for bigger, better blood and guts coming your way!

Crash Car Revamp

The team have been touching up our crash car to make it look a bit funkier! Our crash car helps us to teach people how to deal with motorists after a vehicle incident. Not only can they climb around inside it to treat drivers in confined space but the removable roof, doors and sterring wheel help them to practise spine casualty extraction – just like the real thing!

We are pleased to announce that we recently ran our first course aimed specifically at professional drivers who were able to obtain JAUPT CPC points for the training – the guys on the course did really well and the day was a great success!

Hi Alex,

This is just to confirm to you the excellence of the First Aid training at Quayside yesterday. All Quayside staff were impressed by the professionalism and expertise of Russ the CRT medical trainer.

We all felt absolute confidence in his work and it gave us all enhanced confidence to complete our responsibilities in this area.

No-one can remember having first aid training of quite this calibre before. Please continue to use them!
