There are approximately 22 million
sports injuries sustained each year in the UK
Ideal
for coaches, athletes and teachers this course will cover the importance
of fast and effective first aid treatment - this is an area which people
generally have a poor understanding even though a good initial treatment
can have a significant impact on reducing tissue damage and recovery
times.
This course is usually taught during one day however elements of it can
be added to various other courses such as Emergency First Aid at Work or
as training for sports groups.
The training is practical in nature and will involve strapping and
taping joints for biomechanical support. If you would like further
