May I on behalf of the Committee, Staff and Cadets of TS Cardigan Bay, Aberystwyth Sea Cadets, thank you for providing the opportunity for the cadets to learn what will be valuable life saving skills.
I would like to think that in the future we will be able to call upon you in assisting staff and cadets to gain required qualifications recognised by the Sea Cadet Corps.
The evening was a resounding success which all cadets and instructors present enjoyed, once again many, many thanks for your time and commitment.

Elan Valley Lodge is a residential outdoor activity centre in Mid Wales that has delivered a wide range of training programmes to outdoor instructors and DofE volunteers over the last 20+ years.
First Aid Training has always been an important part of this offering and we have partnered with numerous organisations over the years. By far the best is CRT Medical. Their courses are engaging, practical and fun. Feedback from delegates is always excellent as CRT ensure that the material is specifically geared to their audience and the situations that they are likely to face in their work.
Discussions, practical sessions, lectures and realistic scenarios are all used. CRT have created a unique offering where First Aid is no longer boring. I recommend them without hesitation.

To whom it may concern,
Ref CRT medical
CRT medical has provided Aberystwyth University with First Aid courses over the last four years. The courses have all received positive feedback from the participants.
In addition to the HSE courses of FAW, EFAW and AP, CRT have assisted in providing our staff with refresher courses using realistic scenarios with actors; specific courses
on issues such as epilepsy for relevant departments to build confidence in their staff, and courses with practical experience for staff leaders of field trips.
CRT are a very effective and professional training organisation and we look forward to continue working with them in the future.

Dear Russ,
RE: UK MOUNTAIN FIRST AID COURSE 26TH AUGUST 2010
Can I take this opportunity on behalf of SARA to thank you, Karen and all the staff at CRT Medical for such a fantastic 3 day UK Mountain first aid and HSE first aid course.
The course was very intensive and well organised this made the most of the time available during the course and maximised on the knowledge passed over to the crew.
All the SARA team brought away from the course many skills and felt that the scenarios were very, very lifelike. The artificial wounds, false blood and the
and the behaviour of your actors created a realistic trauma scene, so well at times, I am sure that we forgot it was not real!
A big thank you from the guys to Karen who provided us with freshly prepared home cooking and baking. Our crew can eat for England, however many took their snacks back home with them as they were constantly full and the food was of a very high quality especially the flapjacks. Well done Karen.
Thank you to you Russ for being an excellent first aid instructor. You were very passionate about your subject always answering any questions asked and prepared to that extra mile to make the course a complete success, even chatting with the crew about first aid during your tea breaks. You ran the course like clockwork, very often setting up the next lesson while were practised what we had just been shown. This ensured continuity and no time wasted as you find on some courses we have attended.
The pace of the course was amazing and even though we had enough time for tea breaks we were taught very effectively. By the end of the first day we found ourselves in one of your scenarios with four casualties being treated by four first aiders and I think this drove the point home, that you may be faced with multiple casualties where although you are a member of a team it could be down to you alone to deal with the casualty. This also emphasised the importance of scene management, using the first aid kits to their most effective, prioritising and treating casualties from most critical first.
We would also like to express our thanks to CRT medical for their generosity. All SARA members are volunteers and with no government funding, all our crew carry our fundraising most weekends and with all the equipment, vehicles, boats and medical equipment to purchase and repair we have to spend our funds wisely. For years now we have not been able to send a lot of our crew on external courses due to the high cost of training. We are very grateful for this opportunity to attend such a relevant course at such a subsidised price and without the course quality being compromised.
Many thanks again Russ and to the CRT team for this opportunity to attend such quality course and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Meg Jones, Bettws Lifehouse Ltd.
Dear Russ and Karen,
I would like to take this opportunity to send a really big thank you to you on behalf of all the staff and students at the Bettws Lifehouse.
The day’s training that you put together was superb.
The most notable things about your training day were:
1. The way that you put together a bespoke package to meet our, somewhat different, needs.
2. The way that you organised the day so that the full Emergency First Aid Course at work was covered with our staff and school leavers,
yet a full schools day’s activities for all the pupils slotted into this, for which each pupil received a worthwhile certificate of achievement.
3. All of our pupils had an enjoyable and productive days’ training.
4. Our staff came away from the day feeling confident about emergency first aid.
5. The division of the day into indoor and outdoor activities, with a constant supply of new activities presented in memorable ways so that
the staff and pupils were constantly engaged in the learning process.
6. Your competence as training providers and your ability to engage with and manage our special need pupils, yet to know when to ask our staff to support you in this.
7. Your extremely competitive pricing.
I would not hesitate to recommend this training to other schools and organisations working with young people with special needs.
Thank you.
Sally Akehurst, UWA Sports Science.
Dear Russ Colman
I would like to thank you for the very successful first aid courses that you have run in the department recently.
The courses ran very smoothly and were extremely well received by the students. Please find enclosed feedback forms completed by all attendees;
I hope these will be of use to you and they obviously reinforce the success of the courses.
I am very pleased with how things have run this year with regard to the information you provided us prior to the courses, the organisation
and the service received. On this basis and the positive student feedback I am quite certain that we will approach you again in the future
for this course and provision. Please let me know any feedback or thoughts that you might have regarding the courses.
Once again, thank you, I look forward to future contact.
Thank you.
